Birthday Weekend

Last Saturday (21st) was my birthday I had a great weekend saw friends and partied. On Friday night I went to a show at the Nine Lives gallery. After My friend Todd invited me to the Satyricon concert at the arena, he had a plus one on the door so I couldn't let that go to waste. I m not really into Norwegian Black Metal but they are good at what they do and I had fun. So Saturday feeling hung over I had to go vote, after my sister made me pork chops which helped me get over my hangover.

Sunday.. off to the Gold Coast hinterland, Mt Tamborine to be exact. Tamara F and I ate a selection of cheese and fruit and downed a couple of drinks. It's really nice down there, we had a look at some antique shops also and played with a big cat. In one of the shops named The Old and Odd where these crazy old phones, the kind of ones that you would expect to see in a 1930's hotel some made out of marble and they where all in working order!!

Well I had a great weekend no birthday cake though but I did have a Baskin and Robins ice cream, strawberry cheese cake it had little bits of cake in it so I guess it makes up for no cake.
